Minor Battle

We’re currently putting together X48 for Microsoft and Channel 4, and as part of that we’ve been researching some interesting indie games. One of the most unusual is Minor Battle, which is a 2D combat game with a wraparound arena. The unusual part is that it’s designed to be played on four monitors arranged as a column. Probably best shown by this video:

I used to play a modified version of pool where players didn’t have to take turns, and there was one cue ball for each player. It was great fun because it involved a fair bit of wrestling, and miraculously we never ripped the felt on any tables. I could see Minor Battle working in the same way: simultaneous wrestling and meta-wrestling.
